Sarcasm - Total Institution

far so far records presents total institution by sarcasm. London based. Not exactly sure when the cassette will be released, so i would suggest following them on BC for updates. looking forward to it though. these mates are creating some super solid punk/post-punk tunes. my personal favorite: figure in a landscape...cause of it's intro...so twangy...like, it could easily be a bonus track on Miami (gun club) or something- ha. which is the fucking coolest thing ever. these duders are melting my heart with that track. <....3

So i apologize, i've been totally slackin' on this blog this past month...but there's a good reason though! I've been hard at work trying to finish up my ZINE. ISSUE 1 is done and i'm ready to share it with y'all. it's entirely music related and entirely made by me. this issue features, gig fotos of Destruction Unit, Dirty Fences, Parquet Courts...and few other badass musicians. I've written short reviews over some of my favorite cass/records that i own. Yet another PG post about a band off of Drug Party Tapes. I repeat, please, please, check out their catalog - it's insanely good. Hot tip is a four-piece punk act from buffalo, NY and fronted by vocalist Katherine Goewey. fucking rad vocals...she will suck up your soul with the opening track. Actually, I wonder what she is chanting? It sounds demonic-is she summoning Demons? Punk Demons with leather jackets? i hope so.

Bacon Fudge - Jaybirds K

On repeat, repeat, repeat. So, because this cassette kicks so much ass, I ended up buying two copies. One of which is for muah, and the other I want to give to one of y'all. Because...sharing is caring...and I can't help but want to share the brilliance of what is Bacon Fudge. Paris' best grunge-punk (grunk) act 'round.

So game plan: all you have to do is listen to this album in it's entirety (you'll probably end up listening to it like 218 times, cause it's that damn amazing) and send me an explanation of which song get's ya groovin' in ya boots the most.
